Artist, Illustrator, designer, Nancy Zhang. I had the pleasure of having jasmin tea and a brief chat with Nancy while in Paris recently. Nancy told me that she grew up in China’s third largest city,Tianjin. Not far from Beijing. Tianjin is an old port city, with a huge new developments, which are at the center of China’s new innovation revolution. Nancy studied animation in Tianjin and was invited to show at the Stuttgart film festival in Germany.Nancy decided to stay in Germany and currently lives in Berlin, where she says she loves the freedom to be able to express her individuality and creativity. Nancy has also written and illustrated several Children’s books, including a popular French book called the Red Bird. Nancy also runs a popular fashion blog called The Sea of Fertility, where she gets the opportunity to indulge her combined passion for fashion and art.
