Textile student Amalya Meira is wearing, “mum’s dress, a sweater by Lamb, which is designed by the singer Gwen Stefani. The short crop denim jacket is from Spitafields market. The shoes are by Kenneth Cole and very comfortable and good and high. I made the scarf myself, with colour flex and two different types of wool. The diamond pattern types were found”.

“My favourite trend is irony, funny sweaters and wearing miss placed things in a new way, –  for instance, this jacket is like a military men’s jacket – very small. I also like to wear Bill Cosby sweaters with high waisted pants.

“My least favourite trend is American Apparel, it’s like they are selling a look and I don’t like that.  They have individual items which are nice, but I don’t like it when everything someone buys is from American Apparel”.
