Photographer Blue loves to mix-up the Afro-Punk with the Grunge and at the age of 19 has already founded the ‘Blue Talent Agency London’. Blue tells me she grew up between south west London and the northern suburbs of Paris, and is very excited be making a documentary on Afro-Punk sub-culture in the UK, which is being supported by VICE, and adds, “I believe (Afro-Punk) is a forgotten sub-culture in the UK”. As I was about to leave I asked Blue to sum-up her photography practice for me and got this neat answer. “I take photographs of unconventional identities, subcultures, the underground scene and the skate scene as well, – I fucking love skating!” 10 May 2022.
