London – Sadie

Kingston University Fashion Graduate Sadie Clayton, wearing a vintage 80s suit bought from an Antiques market in Kingston Upon Thames, and designed the bag and jewelry herself. Sadie says she has a passion for vintage and is hugely influenced by Jean-Paul Goude/Grace Jones era 80s disco styles and draws inspiration from Gareth Pugh-who Sadie used to work with. Sadie is also inspired by the Belgian designers Viktor & Rolf.

Our FIT (NYC) class met her at a vintage store in London during our study abroad program. We were also able to see her exhibit at the London Graduate Fashion Show, which was fabulous. She has amazing style and talent. She’s one to watch! Love her outfit!!
