London – Angola Liberation
August 11th, 2012Sara is from Portugal, but bought the fabric in Angola. Sara designed the outfit with a jacket to go with and got her mother-who is an excellent seamstress, to stitch it all together. Sara started out as a graphic designer-with a great eye for print design. Sara has just moved to London, currently working as a makeup/ FX artist on fashion shoots and movies.

Okay last reply. I run a fashion blog, I give quirky titles to my post, in this case i was alluding to the fact that the material of her clothes was bought in Angola and then made into a jumpsuit, thus liberating the material and design into something totally unique. I run a fashion blog not a History blog.

Great look! I just made a post about treating african fabrics with style and respect, let me know what you think: http://lisbonlove.wordpress.com
And, by the way, “what?”, Portugal has left Angola, along with all other ex-colonies, during the Portuguese Revolvution in 1974. And I like your title.
