London – Basha

I love Basha’s 40s country Gal look.The jacket is from Savile row and has beautiful detailing, this is complimented with a wonderful pair Palazzo pants and quirky hat. Basha tells me that she is a costume designer and has worked on various films including Dark Shadows, X Men, The Duchess, Prometheus. Currently Basha is working on the latest Thor movie.

   If only women’s pants from the era survive. I don’t think I’ve found a single pair in a thrift store, ever in decades of shopping. She knows what she’s doing. Beautiful look. What’s more it’s probably made everyone who’s seen it a little bit happier for a moment.

   Wait! Yes, I have found a pair, once! And wore them out (happily).
