Measuring Up – Shoreditch

September 30th, 2010

Back in London for a couple of days before I go to Paris, I spotted Linda working in the “Michael Bessell, Worshipful Company of Upholders”, – which is a small upholstery shop based in Shoreditch.  Linda tells me that she had been working in upholstery for 4 years now, and comes from a long line of “artsy-crafty  family members, back home in Sweden″. Linda says, ” It runs in my family, I see myself doing this job all my life, I love waking up and being creative everyday″.

Thank you so much. I just want to take beautiful pictures. As Aristotle said, “All things strive for perfection.” I guess that’s true for all of us in the creative professions.
